Each fair will have its own set of rules.Follow them closely and to the letter. If you are uncertain…ask!

The two most often violated rules concern safety when fire or living organisms are used in a project.

1. If a flame is used in your project, make certain you understand and apply all applicable rules. Judges will be looking for violations.
2. If you use live animals or microorganisms in your project, you will be scrutinized very carefully. There is a good amount of paper work and authorization that must accompany any such fair project.
