"KIDS ON THE INTERNET" LESSON PLAN

Purpose :
Students will be introduced to various Internet protocols.

Materials :
30 minute videotape Kids on the Internet (Michael Wiese Productions 1-800-379-8808; 818-379-8799); overhead;worksheet.

Lesson:

1. Hand out worksheets and let students read them over.

2. Introduce video by informing students they will be watching a video which does a good job in explaining the different parts of the Internet . Ask students to answer the worksheet questions while watching the video (using short answers).

3. Have students complete summary question at end of video and share with class if there is time.
