Rating: four and a half stars
The Bottom Line
Carefully arranged activities set to music provide an excellent exercise program for preschoolers and Kindergartners. This program includes exercises that have kids stretching, jumping, marching, playing movement games, winding down, and more. Most importantly, at all times it is fun, encouraging children to associate exercise with having a good time.

Preschool Aerobic Fun Product Overview
Created by Georgiana Stewart, this audio CD offers carefully sequenced activities designed to develop aerobic strength and awareness in preschoolers.

The first track Wake Up, Warm Up eases children into the exercise period with simple breathing and stretching exercises. This is followed by another warm-up routine. Track 3 is lengthier and moderately vigorous, encouraging children to develop motor skills and stamina through continuous basic movements. Other tracks help kids wind down, improve posture and flexibility, and more. This title includes marches, music to jump and skip to, movement games, and relaxation tracks.

The CD insert includes lyrics to the songs as well as written instructions for the parent or instructor designed to complement the audio directions.

This collection would be appropriate for Kindergartners as well as preschoolers. It shouldn't be limited to school use either! Parents will appreciate this program of activities that can be followed easily at home. The suggested activities do however, imply a group of children are involved, but can easily be modified for home use.

Dollar Value
